Does Anyone Know Where this Rubber Grommet Goes?

Can anyone tell me where this rubber grommet goes?
I found it on my driveway today. I've looked all over my bike to no avail. I even looked through the online manual and still couldn't find it. I only know its' off my bike due to the MV logo on it.

Cheers

Steve,

Well Done! You Win A Cookie!
It was the rubber grommet from the paddock stand!
Panic Over!
I feel like a complete plonker, I've spent over an hour looking over the bike, even had the fairing off!
I even searched every page in the manual.
Thanks again Steve.
I noticed your from the Isle of Man, If the weather's as good there as it is here, I'd love to be on the mountain right now!

Cheers

Don't worry mate. It is a complete bugger when you find bit's on the drive.

I believe the weather is Fab on the Island today and it would be good to be out and about. Unfortunately I am in Florida (Pilot) and due to head home at about 1 am UK time.

To add insult to injury not only am I missing bike time but its absolutely P'ing down here hence the internet.

Enjoy what is left of the day

Hi Steve,

Sorry to hear about the poor weather over in Florida.
It makes a change for the weather in England to better then Florida though.
I don't want to rub salt into the wounds Steve, but I've just been out on my MV in the glorious sunshine. It's 20 deg C here, just the right temperature for riding. I've been on my favourite "test route", which is about forty miles and takes me on a circular route up into the Peak District. The bike was absolutely singing, I forgot just how fast the these things are, even compared to my CBR600, which I ride every day.
This is the only bike I've ever owned that I've felt a little intimidated of on full throttle!
I think I need to have a Stiff drink to calm my nerves!

Thanks to everyone who replied about my problem.
Nice to hear from you again Odonata, I hope you got your bike fixed to your satisfaction!
By the way, how are you going with your Martial Arts?
I recently got my blue belt, and boy was it tough!

Cheers

Too funny...I had the same thing happen last week and I just haven't remembered to post the question.

This site is awesome.

Well...it's 70 degrees in south TX so time to go ride...

Withouy a word of a lie this is about the 5th time over the years that this grommet has caused problems, I knew the answer to the question without even looking at the picture! funny how these things keep coming around.
