Lightbulb High Intensity Discharge (HID) F4R

Hid’s are must on these Italian machines since stock lights really sucks I went with new system from :http://www.xtralights.com/index.asp?...OD&ProdID=1350

It's simple plug and play blaster is relay neat looking with built in igniter even do not need to take out the front fairing..

Here are some pictures.

These colour temperatures are available to chose from I went with arrestable one 12000K.

Kit come with following:

Blaster and igniter size is really cool and easy to install:

1)To begin with start putting HID tube wire from the top of the hosing:

2)Pull the top low beam wires harness all the way down to the front fender:

3)Join with positive and negative wires of the blast power cables and create the good connection preferably with the solder.

4)Install the HID tube into the light hosing and secure it with the clip:

5)Secure the good looking blaster under under the front fairing:

Cool and neat installation:

Result:

Which version did you get for your bike? I wonder if the Brutale would take the same?

BTW - does this replace high-beam or low-beam?

When a passenger of the foot moves in sight, tootle the horn trumpet melodiously to him at first. If he still obstacles your passage, tootle him with vigor and express by word of mouth the warning, "Hi, hi."

One can do high beam or low beam your choice. I did low beam on F4 low beam is size H3 and high beam is 9005. I do not know the what size head lights Brutale has but they are available in all shapes and sizes.

It's night and a day difference compare to stock lights. I put Hid's in every thing I own love them. Lower the number you go in your choice of colour temperatures more available/usable light you will have.

That looked very nice. Is it the 4300k or 6000k you use?
Thinking of getting the exact same type for my Brute in 6000k. Do you believe the wireing is long enough from the bulb to the blaster, so it could be fitted below the seat? Have to check but I think the headbulb for the Brute is a H9...anyone know for sure?
