My 2 cents and I hope i dont get flamed for it since i am not a Senna owner...pros for Senna, it looks better color schemewise, has carbon bits, lots of them...has the upgraded shocks, money goes for charity ( some of it at least ) and exclusivity, maybe a few kilos shaved off cause of the carbons. Cons, price. Advantages? None.

Advantages are subjective. Most riders aren't going to notice (or, at least, utilise) the difference in power between a Senna and an F4R.

You buy a Senna out of lust and heart, not the need for hp over another bike..!

If you're in the market for a Senna, get one if it gives you a hard-on.

When I bought my Senna, the only other choice was the S model. Obviously there was quite a bit more difference between the S and a Senna, so I went with the Senna for the added bits and performance.
I haven't ridden an R model, so I can't comment on any performance differences. I do like the fact that the Senna is a limited edition.
My bet is that regardless of which bike you choose, you will never ride either bike to it's full capabilities (few can). In that case, you will also never outgrow the bike. These bikes will always challenge you -- and that keeps riding them fun for me. Trust me, you won't make a mistake choosing one of these bikes over the other.
