Is the R worth about 6K more than a S

I was at my friends shop and he is looking to get rid of his last new 06 1000s and said to me he would give me the deal of a lifetime and give me a black 06 1000S for 16K with just tax. SO he has me thinking is this worth doing with all the great writeups on the 1000R. I am looking to only street ride it so thoughts Any modifications needed and idea of what they would cost?

That's a pretty good deal IMO. You just need to ask yourself if all the goodies on the R are worth it to YOU. It sounds like the 06 1000S is plenty already for you so go for it!!

Sounds like a good deal, you would have to be a hell of a rider to exploit everything the S has to offer.

+1

I've also heard that a new version of the F4 is comming out, hmmm I think its called the F4 313R..... It cost $3000.00 more than the 312R.....

The difference between the bike is that MV Agusta is using a new thinner paint job hence the extra 1km/h top speed.

hahaha

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast!!

Wow! How about you haggle for me when the time comes for me to get a bike? I am tempted for a Senna if they are still around tiowards the end of this year...or wait to see what limited editions come out for 2008...if any.
