Any financial downside to buying a single and not a 1+1

Is one more faviored over the other? I am thinking I will never take anyone on the back so why get the 1+1 but am I going to kick myself if and when I go to sell it? Is there one that seems to be hotter than the other?

I don't think the resale is much more for a 1+1. Maybe even less because the seat doesn't look as good as a single? Mileage, mods, and condition would be a bigger factor.

But, are you sure about the "never take anyone" part? I had a 1+1 750 and only used it 2 or 3 times.
