Did I mess up, miss out?

Several weeks ago I saw an ad for 2012 MV F4 RR. It sounded a little odd, almost to good to be true. It went something like; Hi, I'm selling this bike for a friend yada yada, only 300 kms blah blah, rare statin white 200 h.p. what ever... MSRP was over $25,000 asking $17,000 obo. It was only an hours drive away but I never phoned as I wasn't in the market for an F4 RR. But, see what I mean? Selling for a friend, very, very low kilometers with an asking price the same as a standard left over 2011 F4. It just didn't sound right.
Well, guess what showed up today for sale on my Ducati dealer's website? Yep, satin white F4 RR with 3000 kms and the price is now $20,000. My dealer is located in the same area as the ad was. The extra zero might just have been a typo or miscommunication between the friends.
Anyway, if someone in the GTA is looking for an RR GPBikes in Whitby has one.

Believe that bike was purchased from Ride Motorcycle and traded in for a 2013 F4RR. I know the previous owner. If it is the same bike it was never abused, but at 20k it is priced too high.

Richard, I remember seeing that bike at Ride and wondering why someone would take such a hit trading in a practically new 2012 for a 2013. Personally I prefer the solid white over the 2013 two tone treatment. If I remember correctly it only had a few hundred clicks on it at that time. Now you’re saying that GP’s price is high. If a leftover standard 2011 F4’s is $17,000 then for just an extra 3 grand you move up to full Ohlins 200 h.p. and those two R’s on the side panels and barely broke in. Interesting sales ploy if that’s Jerry’s thinking.
But, in answer to my original question I guess if I’d wanted all that I missed the boat by not jumping on that first ad.
