F4 wont start

Battery went dead on my 07 F4. Charged it up and everything lights up but when I go to start it I just get a click. Any ideas what may be the issue before I start breaking it down.

Does the pump prime?
Does the dash dim and/or the rev needle recycle when it clicks?
Have you measured the battery voltage?
Did you allow the battery to go completely flat at all?

More than likely battery is toast.
Try getting a new battery (or a different, working battery from a friend) to test before you start tearing things apart.
My bet is that it will fire right up.
MV's like to eat batteries...
Cheers,

The pump primed and dash light up and it did the normal. I put it back on the tender and will wait a few

Battery's dead, have you tried giving it a push start?
Be careful when you install the new battery, make sure you get the polarity right, remember the battery is lying on it's side.

Ok update. ..got It started and went for a ride. Noticed a couple of things will riding maybe its just me be paranoid about the bike not starting but first this when I come of throttle, I hear an air sound almost like a gasp in a way. The other is the exhaust is popping everything is stock except for muzzy fans. Hopefully im being paranoid and no real issues, I usually ride with earbuds in so never really noticed it before. Thanks everyone for your help and inputs.
