Wink Welcome to the forum mate

Sorry to hear you join the forum under such crappy conditions.

Just a few quick questions.
Is it a f4 1000S or R model, in some countries the 1000R came out as a MY06 model too.

Secondly, is SA in South Africa, South Australia or some other place ?

Let us know and I'm sure you'll have some guys looking to help soon. For motors and all thing used try sending Carl a message - http://www.mvagusta.net/forum/member.php?u=3135 .

Sorry to hear that. I'm very interested in how many miles the motor had, was maintenance kept up, were you at redline when it went..etc?

I hope you find a reasonable replacement. I'm also interested in spare motor parts for porting etc.

Sorry. That wasn't helpful. What i meant to say was, when mine went, it took me 6mths before i found a replacement.
Fortunatly i got one for a good price, but I say again. I got lucky.
This is going to be a search of patience or pockets.
If your pockets are deep enough, you can get it sooner.
If not (so deep), Try some of our sales guys on here or patently pace until that item comes up.
In addition, dont let your need run away with your common sense. Cautiously choose who you buy from especially those who you have no background info on.

Good luck in your mission
