exhaust header R V RR

Just thought you'd all be interested in seeing the differences between the exhaust headers of a F4 1000R and a F4 1000RR. The RR size is 38mm increasing to 45mm outside dia and the R is only 34mm increasing to 40 mm, its quite some difference? I can only assume this is how MV got another 10 bhp out of the new RR

Thumbs up Y10+

Diameter and also the configuration. That would make some difference for sure.

Are the runner lengths equal ?
(Edit: ah, OK: one is 4-2-1 and the other one is 4-1 - makes my question irrelevant.)

Which is which between the R and RR? Is the RR the 4-2-1?

Where exactly are you taking your measurements from? I just bought the Arrow collectors/cat delete for the 2010 F4 from Motovation and took them out of the box to measure. I didn't want to post the info until I confirmed I was measuring what you were.

Please show us some pics mate, it would be very interresting to know what the aftermarket pipes are like compared to the RR one's.

I don't want to post any numbers until Stephen confirms how he is taking the measurements so we are comparing apples to apples.

Yes the RR is the 4-2-1, I am trying to sell it if you are interested, it has the CAT removed from inside the pipe and it will fit the2010 - 2013 F4 1000, the R and the RR
