MV F4 bar risers

I just learned cyclecat is back. Not sure if you guys remember them but they got some nice stuff. Strongly thinking of getting their bar risers for the MV. They are also the only company I know of supplying shorter kickstands (I just ordered one for my 1098). You'll be amazed at how hard it is to find a 1" shorter kickstand without having to resort to cutting and welding.

Better order them quick. I understand Alex Ortner has contacted his lawyer about the reopening of the web site. I do not know the details but it was a conflict with who owned the rights that brought it down last time.

This thread was just brought to my attention. We do have the MV bar kit that fits the first gen F4, the Brutale and probably any of the bikes with the 58mm fork tubes.
I have also done a very easy modification to my frame plates to allow me to use a set of Cycle Cat rearsets on the bike that offer a lot more adjustability than anything else on the market that I have ever seen.
The bars and rearsets are in stock but are not on our website.

riser

hey,does this make the bike a bit more comfortable to ride and less chance at thumb pinching in the garage???

will it fit a 2002 f4 750 ???

how much ???

Thumb pinch is eliminated because you can flatten out the angle of the bars and with the eccentric adjustment and the riser these are as comfortable as you will find for the F4. Keep in mind that the first gen F4 is very tight around the bar and riser so you can not get the full 360 degree bar angle rotation without interference issues however you can get these more comfortable than the stock.

The kit is $290. If you look at the DBR11 kit on the Cycle Cat site you will see the details on the kit, how the adjustment system works and what it comes with. The only difference is the 58 mm risers and the reservoir relocation brackets are not included.

The kit fits the first generating F4 and Brutale. It probably fits the second gen as well but we have never had one to test on.

Cyclecat: Best stands on the market, Period.

I purchased a cyclecat rearstand in 2006 for my japanese sportbike, ridiculously easy to use and virtually foolproof. Zero issues, accidental drops, etc.
A few months later got their front stand as well.
Worth every penny IMHO.

Thanks Daniel. We really appreciate our old customers chiming in with their support. I have worked really hard for the last five years to get control of Cycle Cat and get the products back to the community. It seems that a lot of the new guys have never heard of us but we are working to change that.
We will be putting the rearstand back into production this summer so tell all of your normal swing arm friends.

We do have the MV bars in stock but the bars for the MVs were never on the Cycle Cat web site. The reason for this is that the stock coffin style master cylinder reservoirs on the first generation F4 and Brutale were not compatible with our clip-ons. At the time, Moto Wheels was selling our systems and switching the bikes over to Brembo radial pumps. These bikes still pose the same problem however we can supply new reservoirs and you can purchase stock Brembo pumps from any Ducati superbike or get the billet Brembo's.

I do not know if the 2nd gen F4 still uses the same reservoirs. Can some of you guys post pics of the late model bikes or confirm that they still use the coffin style or have gone to the remote bottles. Sorry, no MV dealer in Ohio anymore.

We are looking for the late model F4 and F3 for development if any of you are in Ohio. If we use your bike you get one of everything we builf for your bike so it can be a good deal.
