Left side blinkers inop...?

I noticed on last night's ride that my left side front blinker does not work and the rear left side stays solid. The right side front/back work just fine. Since the rear left at least lights up I'll assume that it's not a fuse issue.

i think its probably to do with the connections, the arm (under the nose fairing) is held in place by an allen bolt that goes in to the plate at an angle, loosen it, fiddle with it, tighten it, normal a good fiddle will fix it ;-)

Also check the bulb on the left front mate. If a bulb blows, the indicators stay solid similar to a car blinking uber fast.

Check those terminals as well, if it doesn't have a connection it will act the same as if a bulb is blown.

Also might be worth checking your blinker fluid or topping it up? :P

Fuse is good, bulb is good. I took the left side apart and checked continuity across all of the lines. The issue is definately in the arm. I wiggled and adjusted but not having any luck. Will get back with it after frustration settles.

Or it could be your battery. I had the same problem and it looked like my battery was in a poor condition. Try driving a very long drive or put your battery on a battery charger.

Isn't the F4 the most beautiful bike you have ever seen?

turn signal

had the same problem. 1st prove it is in the arm. Get a small jumper with aligator clips on each end (Radio Shack) remove the nose fairing, remove the turn signal bulb, turn on the ignition and blinker, clip one clip to one contact on the bulb, hold the other jumper clip to one of the brass bottons, touch the other bulb contact to the other brass botton, if it blinks it is in the arm. My problem was the 2 large screws in the elongated slots holding the arm to the fairing, they had loosened up and allowed the arm to move, so the contacts were not making contact with the spring loaded brass bottons.
