What??? Are you for real? You have now also blown the diod by installing the battery wrong. thats not an easy thing to replace.

Folks, read this because it will save you some headache.

IF YOU ARE NOT CAPABLE OF INSTALLING A FUCKING BATTERY, OR AT THE VERY LEAST FIGURING OUT WHICH WAY A BATTERY SHOULD BE CONNECTED, DONT DO ANY WORK ON YOUR OWN BIKE!!!! TAKE IT TO SOMEONE WHO HAS HALF A BRAIN CELL LEFT!

KEEPING THE ABOVE IN MIND, YOU PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT A BIKE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!! IT TAKES MORE THAN 1 BRAIN CELL (THE SAME AMOUNT REQUIRED TO CHANGE A FUCKING BATTERY AND NOT FUCK IT UP) TO RIDE A BIKE WITHOUT KILLING YOURSELF!

That being said, welcome to the forum! You are going to love it here.

Calm down boys! 06f4, I suggest you get a wiring diagram which can be found in the worshop manual, you can get one of those on a download off here somewhere I'll try and find the link for you.

Listen jackass! You are going to need much thicker skin than that if you want to survive on this forum.

You fix cars for a living? And you cant figure out how to connect a fucking battery? I feel sorry for whosever car you fix! If you cant figure out how to connect a damn battery, you have much bigger problems my friend!

It's a two year old thread gents and it seems that 06f4Agusta has left the building...if only he knew that battery lies on its side....
