A funny thing happend
Almost three weeks ago I took my 2006 MV Agusta F41000S in for 3800 mile maintnance. Two days later I think the bike should be ready so I stopped by the mech to see if it was.
Well, to make a long story short, the mech knocked the bike off the lift-table. Thus screwing up some very important parts and knocking the **** out of the nose fairing and the right side fairing.
Of course they are paying for the damage. I might get the bike back in June, maybe.
Until then I am on a loaner bike. They gave me a 2008 Honda CBR1000RR. It is an OK bike. I bought one myself back in 2008 when the Fireblade was the bomb. I had it for 9 months and put 16,000 miles on it. I am very comfortable on the Fireblade. But, I gotta say it! It ain't an MV.
I will tell you though, I want my MV back. Riding the Honda last weekend reminded me of why I traded for the F4.
I miss my MV.

Sorry to hear that RoadMonger - seems like a stand-up dealership would have called you to tell you about the accident? Maybe they did. But just tough all around. I am sure the CBR does not give you the same riding experience as you get with your F4....

RoadMonger careless workshop there,I know accidents happen, but a bike falling off the lift is inexcuseable. When the bike is ready just thoughally check the repairs are perfect and do not accept the bike back unless the repairs have been done properly, sorry to hear this,Mitch.

Bad news, at least they've got you something to ride around on, even if it is a Honda!

If you can't fix it with a hammer you've got an electrical problem!
