F4S production

Does anyone has an idea of the number of F4S that were produced ?
5000 ? 10000 ? more ?

I remember hearing ~7000/Year for the world market.

In one article that Castigator guy said that MV produces about 7,000 bikes a year.

So my guess is that they would have closer to 5000 MV1000F4S models worldwide.

There was the 2005 production and then the 2006 production was cut back since they did not sell all of the '05 models according to one dealer that I spoke with.

The only production bikes more rare than an MV is a Bimota or a Benelli.

With a production of 7000 a year, considering the Brutale model, the total number of 5000 F4S all years of production seems realistic. That is a very lean production compared with other makes, included DUCATI. There are much more guys which are dreaming about than riding those lovely bikes.

Castigator guy... Heh, that's too funny.

As far as production bikes, I think it depends on your definition of production! There's Mondial too, and probably some others if you're talking Italian only.

That's more than Moto Guzzi has produced in a year for some time now.
