Dunlop Sportmax Q2 tyres

Anybody running these. My mechanic tells me the feedback on these is incredible. Found this article, sounds promising.

They're good, very good. I've used Q RR's, QII's and now the Sportsmarts on the 1078RR. The Sportsmarts are the best by far. One of the new generation of the "do it all" street/trackday sportstyre, and successor to the QII. They give feedback right from the off. Amazing.

Awesome tires. They grip like a race tire. Buy them. They are well worth it.

I have them on my MV right now and have nearly 3 track days on them.

I've been using them on my 1000R. Great tyres. 900 road miles on the rear and it's not got too much left, but every one of those miles has been ace. They warm fast too.

Hey all,

I'm in the market again for new tires. I'm looking at the usual suspects BT016, 2CT and these Dunlop Q2's. I have an Evo3 and do a lot of canyon riding in Colorado. I don't do any track days.

Are the Dunlops the best? I keep hearing about them.

How do they hold up long term?

Best sizes for an '03 750? I'm running PP's right now with a 65 in the front. I won't be able to go to a 70 as it doesn't look like there is enough clearance, so I'll have to go to a 60 if the best brand doesn't have a 65.

Thanks all.

I have read nothing but awesome reviews on the Q2 and the price is amazing seems like sales for sets are everywhere on them.

I shyd away do to wanting to do a few track days. But if price is not big factor the GP-A are amazing tire for Canyone Carving but the tire is made for track time. I did manage to rack up some decent mileage on my 208s and 209s the 211 is out now but I would say 90%track 10%road my opinion.

I have them with about 2000miles on them and they are great. Loads of grip with great feeling, even when cold.
