Touch up paint source

Making a left hand U turn on country road and had watch bracelet take a 2mm x 5mm hunk of paint out of air box. Need retailer to purchase touch up paint ppg-*0038. Any suggestions?

No dice, get it color matched and repainted. There is no such thing as MV paint per their given color code.

They only list red and sliver, but you can contact them. They may be able to make yours.....or you can do what I did, go to the local auto body shop that specializes in exotic cars. The shop I use makes their own paint and can match any color.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

If you take the bike (or a sample bit) to any place that supplies paint to the motor trade they should be able to match and mix some up. That's their business.

Paint Spot

Yup no paint code needed, most likely you are looking at repainting the tank. They should be able to tape the stickers and repaint the scratch. Now days they match the exact paint by scanning your colour and its all computerized.

I have used these guys for touch up work. Nicely done job.

Just spoke to Vince at the Paint Spot seems like a nice fellow. Need to remove Air box and take it to him. Says it will take about three days and a couple of hundred dollars.

I tried to repaint my tank using the "paint codes" and ended up repainting everything that was "red" red to match
