Ok everybody, here is the information everyone has been waiting for and that will put THAT thread to rest............NOT!!
Below is a link to my Youtube video of my F4 312RR after fine tuning ( thanks to Jeremy at Moto Arena, and Chris at X-bikes

).
Fast forward to the 1:00min mark to get to the interesting action.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tOLiYc7E_w ( dont forget to put the volume up...the sound is addictive

)
Now before everyone gets excited and starts commenting on why it’s not legitimate.......I know, I know, I know.

The bike is a 1078 and not a 1000 capacity
The bike is not “fresh out of the box” standard
It’s on a dyno and therefore not subject to drag, wind resistance, weight....etc
Inaccuracies in the digital speedometer.
Obviously not a radar reading.
......................And probably a million other reasons
BUT..... 325km/h !!!! on 2 separate runs ( just not in opposite directions as we couldn’t spin the Dyno 180 degrees )

In an earlier run we saw
332km/h but it was backfiring and spitting flames out the back so a little more fine tuning was made.

The top speed isn’t something i’m totally concerned with as I love the MV for it’s design, history and track/street riding performance. I’m safe to say that I’m probably never personally going to see the top speed of my F4 with me on the back.
As hopefully you can all tell, this ISN'T supposed to be a serious statement as to whether or not the record breaking runs of the 312R can be replicated by a factory showroom bike. More so, just a look at these awesome MV machines, and to show off their potential with a few upgrades.

......... and maybe also a cheeky little prod at Stephen’s infamous record breaking thread.
So in closing,
MY 312RR does OVER 312km/h!!!
