First F4 ride

First of all I don't own a Mv and never had, but I'm really intersted now in one. My current ride is a hyper.

I sat on it and it feels a little heavy. We went out for a ride and the heavy weight that I felt went away. That bike is really fast and amazing. I love the sound of the exhuast it doesn't compare to any of the other liter bikes. It handles very sharp like a leaf on a windy day. the f4 is a very demanding bike you need to be on your toes when riding.

the good:

Great power
handles very good
slipper clutch works well
the looks are amazing
makes you want to go faster
the exhuast sound is addictive

the bad:
Foot pegs are high
I don't like the front headlight too much. It reminds me of the GSRX
Your ass gets cooked if you're not moving
too fast for the streets

I will really love to get one now, but I like option B better. The brutale 1090. The bruale is more cormfortable, more forgiving ride and now with the connonballe brutale that has more power. I will not be jealous of the F4 power. I just like my girls naked.

A new set of footpegs will help and there's little to do about the heat except don't stop. It is definitely a nice looking bike.

Your choice

They are so the same, but they are sooo different.
Figure out what you are prepared to give up, or what you are looking for, we will sit back and smile.
Fast and furious or faster and ferocious.....

Guys, Punisher and I measured the bolt spacing for the 2010 F4 and my 05 F4 and they are both 88mm center to center. So any rearset for older MV Agustas should fit the new 2010 F4 without any problems.

I said that it reminds me of the GXSR not that it looks like it.

I have a confession. I was drive up a street near Pro Italia (local MV dealer) and saw a red motorcycle with a MV-like headlight coming from the opposite direction. Of course, I thought it was an MV. Turns out......it was one of those Hyosung motorcycles. I was a little embarassed.

Yeah, I know!!!! I was trying to figure out how I could have made that mistake. Only reasons I could think of is:

1) I'm a big MV fan;
2) I was near the MV dealership on Verdugo Blvd near Von/CVS/Burger King(which is where I see most MV's heading down to Pro Italia)
3) I don't see may Hyosungs either. I guess that makes them more exclusive than MVs?
