2010 passenger seat

Not too crazy about the color match passenger seat on the red / silver F4. The color of the seat isn't a good match with the red of the body work.

The new accessory catalogue doesn't show a seat cowl, but believe it or not, MV's accessory passenger seat

actually looks like a good deal at 95 euros and I like the look of the dark seat with the red stitching.

Just wondering what you guys thought.

I would just have the seats wrapped in Alcantara and get it over with.

I'm thinking of changing both the passenger and the driver seat but mostly because I think the driver seat doesn't haven enough grip. I think I'll go for mv2envy's advice and have it wrapped in alcantara. That way I can choose the exact color myself.

While you are at it, have the shop add some more padding on the rider sead, that thing was flat and not comfy when I sat on it. (talking about 2010 F4's)

No. I like a 'hard' ride I don't feel the seat as being not comfy. If I was aiming for comfort I would have bought me a Gold Wing. I don't like sliding over my seat while braking and accelerating though.

Maybe its because Im shorter (5'8") but I like the seat to be rounder, the 2010 F4 seat felt too flat and hard for my taste. When I did the Alcantara on my 05 F4S, I reshaped the foam taking off the sharp corners on the sides and it felt a lot better for me. Personal preference I guess....

There's plenty of vendors on this site with seat options. Give them a try.
