Couldn't sell F4 sooooooooo.....

Well I have been trying to sell a perfect condition, museum quality 2002 F4s for about a year with no takers. I had the price down to $7000 and folks were offering $5K......Seems the MV market is totally depressed....

A fellow with a museum up in VT wanted the F4 but didn't want to spend the $7k I was asking so I traded him for a 1987 BMW K100RS in like new condition and a bunch of cash.

After my accident (on another bike) and two broken wrists, I just couldn't ride the F4 for more than 20 minutes. Too bad because I loved that bike, but it was bumming me out seeing it in the garage not being ridden. Now it goes to a museum, where it still won't be ridden, but at least I don't have to look at it.

Maybe a Brutale down the road..........

Yummy, thats a nice K100. Hope you didn't give the guy too much cash though. unless the BMW has like 5miles on the clock or something.

That's a nice bike and if it gets you riding again then all the better!

You mean to say he gave you cash and the bike, right?

That could be a good deal, I'd bet the K100 is pretty close in value to the MV if it is in museum piece condition and mileage. K100 is a desirable bike in mint condition since most have been used to climb massive mileages.

Or if you do you'll have to pay to do it

BTW cool looking BMW - it's amazing how they were able to design a far better looking bike 23 years ago then what they've currently done with the S1000RR ....lol
