Neutral gear light not working!

Any thoughts? Everything else seems to be working just fine. Lights, highbeam, turnsignals, speedo. I checked all fuses on the right side.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Timster;

to test the switch; on the right rear of the motor there is a single green /yellow wire with a bullet connector.....unplug it and connect an Ohm meter or test light, to the other wire, if memory serves me, its black, in neutral you should see continuity to ground or the test light should light if clipped to bat+

to test the bulb, key on, ground the green /yellow wire, the light on the dash should light up....

Thanks Noel. The thing is i can only start the bike with the cluch pulled even when it's in neutral. After the engine starts i just let go of the clutch and everything is fine. Does that makes sence?

Notoriously fragile neut switch - take it out and clean it, it will probably work fine, for a while then clean it again.
