high speed compression

I`ve got a f4 1000 shock in my f4 750. I`ve got the settings, but i seem to remember reading somewhere that the high speed compression adjuster is set differently from the low speed.

If , for example , the manual says to set the low speed comp to 12 click`s. I would wind the screw in clock-wise an then count 12 clicks back out.

Is the high speed the same ( all the way in clock-wise then count out, say 6 clicks )? Or do i turn the high speed adjuster all the way out ( anti-clockwise ) an then count 6 clicks clock-wise?

Any help is appreciated.

Low speed is FROM clockwise.
High speed is FROM counter clockwise.

Off the top of my head, the manual starts their adjustments from opposite ends of the adjustment range.

One starts at full soft (Anti clockwise to the stop) and the other starts at full stiff (Clockwise to the stop)

..you'll need to confirm which one by consulting your manual.

You probably already know this, but high and low speed compression have nothing to do with how fast you're traveling.

I would like that but my wife was trippin' when I mentioned another track day. lol

Is it with Absolute?

I was scheming on Monticello North on 8/2 and 8/3 with TPM.

....maybe I can squeeze a Lightning in there. I like that track. I'll keep you posted. I gotta make up with the wife because she's still pouting for 2 days now.
