Sold my 312 last year and now I looking at a 1078. I what to know your opinion on the difference. Do the 1078s run as hot? THX!

In my opinion they dont run as hot. But they do still require the H/O water impeller and fan upgrade. This matched with a De-cat exhaust and possibly a Micro-tek ECU will make it the coolest running MV on the planet.
IMHO the 1078's are a lot smoother with their power delivery which make for better user friendly riding....
I have ridden a 312R but not to the extent as I have the 1078RR, but I'm sure you will be over the moon in every way with a 1078RR.

I think as long as you have the compact engine and the closed fairings etc the engine will run hot whatever you have. But I agree changes will make a slot of difference, they did on mine.

I know the new 2010 MV F4 is a little dearer $$$$$£££ but trust me if you had problems living with a 312, you'll have the same problems living with the 1078.
Go for the new 2010 F4 its worth it, its the only F4 that MV has produced that has all the old F4 problems ironed out.

I know I go down like a lead ballon on this forum, but I honesty believe I tell it, how it is.
