My mates got a 996 and we took them both out recently.

On stopping at a watering hole i looked at them and its really clear to see that thier design is almost god like genius, the mv though, just looks more refined and finished.

The Duke is iconic and wears its age really well, the mv though, timeless, mines an 02 and still looks as sharp now, too much so in fact thats why i won't go for the 2010

Great pictures though and looks like you had a great one... looks like your mate lacks corner confidence though, has he had it long???

Its my brothers 01 748. He just picked it up a few days before the ride. The front tire is completely shot. I rode it threw some twisties just before that 1st pic and the front tire slid out a little bit. Decided to play it safe until the new shoes show up.

Nice photos. I can make almost the same photos. A friend of mine has just bought a 996s. Even the countryside looks the same here in Czech Republic

Beautifull bikes. I have not had a chance to ride the 996, but I am definitelly looking forward to try it. Anyway I am sure it's not better then the MV

That was my 1st ride on a V-twin and I must say I liked it! However when my brother rode my MV, he didn't want to give it back.

Jolly decent of you to let the Duc stand in front of the MV in the pics... only time that'll ever happen.
