Western Service Contract Corp extended warranty.... Anyone deal with them?

I dropped off my MV at the dealer today to replace the fan and fix the grey/light blue smoke coming out of the exhaust. I have an extended service contract with Western Service thats good till Nov. 2011.

Just want to know if anyone in the US ever had to deal with them for repair and how it went. The service guy said that they can be hard to deal with and try to find reasons to not cover claims. Im kinda worried now.

All the aftermarket extended service contract people can be hard to deal with, but not in the case of an obvious defect. Usually get a little touchy when the failure is possibly related to improper use, modifications or lack of maintenance. Also will never cover any wear type item, including rubber parts.
My feedback about Western has not been too negative.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

As far as the engine goes, it has not been touched by anyone but the dealer, and it had a MAJOR ($1400) service less than 1500 miles ago which included valve adjustmens and all. So I hope they dont try and screw me on this. The wait is going to kill me, Im not going to know anything until next week.
