Mv Impeller fitted

Well
Finally got the bike back to the dealer for this warrenty upgrade...
They also filled the system with 'engine ice' (I think, or that other one, it was blue in colour)...

So I cant say weather it was the impeller or the 'ice' but it appears
to have worked and have only been on a couple of rides since but made sure I hit a few red lights and all does seem well.....finally !

My stress levels have been reduced, as have the temps by perhaps 5-10 degrees C all around, and takes longer for the temps to rise, and they fall quicker now also...

Hats off to my dealer, very happy with their service, and they have a new tacho on the way for me also to solve that issue.

Cheers,
Matt

That is always the thing to spoil a ride, stressing when you stop at a light or come up behind stationary traffic. Glad you can now sit there and enjoy people looking at ur MV.

What's the warranty upgrade specifically and what years does it cover explicitly?

2007 F41000R
2010 Ducati SF
2008 MV Brutale 910 S
2007 Ducati Monster S4Rs
2006 Triumph Speed Triple

Great improvement isn't it?
I'm glad to hear you also got it under warranty as a lot of dealers aren't doing it.

G'day,

I dont know the ins & out of this, however as my bike is only 4 months old (but is old stock 08 model).

As I have posted many times I have been experiencing very high temps...all the time. So I took it up
with the dealer after hearing on this site that MV made an upgraded impeller and pressed them
for it to be fitted under warrenty. If you look in the manual it does state that if the bike is overheating (it says between 120 - 140 degrees C) and the fuse and fans are working then return to dealer.

Apparently it was a bit of a battle for them to get MV to supply this part, however they came thru...

Only cost to me was about $30 for the coolant...

Hope you can get this sorted, and by rights this item should have been fitted to all new bikes and bikes
under warrenty without question, considering how many people have this problem...

Cheers
Matt

Rob

Mate, I am hearing you, do let me know if you get that hot exhaust you are thinking about....

Catch up with you soon, and we can compare temps again ! Hopefully this time there isn't a 20-30 degree
difference between ours....
