Deal??

09 1078 RR silver/ Red mono for $ 18k. Sounds good to me , what do you guys think? for some reason new F4 don't really appeal to me(my humble opinion). I have to make a decision quick because dealership will close down soon. Also how many were imported in US?

I love the bike, my buddy has a 05 F4 but i only worry about if MV comes up with a huge price cut down the road to make a room for the new upcoming F4. Dealer is telling me this is way better than the new one but then again he wants to sell the bike

I dont think they'll be slashing the prices too much more even when the new model gets here. There are still a lot of people who aren't 100% sold on the new design (me for one), and love the older bikes more.
I still say go for it, but i'm probably a bit bias as I have a 1078RR.

I wouldn't expect the new bikes anytime soon.

B4 750S [sold]
B3 675R [waiting]

If the new bikes are gonna sell for around $20K I think you'd be foolish to by the older model.

I know you said you haven't warmed up to the new model but I'm betting once you see it in person and give it a little time you'll come around.

Besides, it's an all around better bike with better technology and perhaps no overheating.

I thought I read somewhere that the new bikes will be out in March and while I don't know where you live it's the heart of winter here and nobody (wel....) is riding right now so March may not be that big a wait.

If when the new bikes hit the showrooms and you really don't like it then you can always by a leftover at that time.

Good luck with whatever route you take....

To me, 1078RR was the last of the breed. Many people can argue with me which i respect their opinion but how do you think they lower the cost of the new bike to $ 20K, they must have cut corners somewhere, just like the Ducati. Don't get me wrong, new F4 is a good looking bike, maybe more advanced but it is just don't appeal to me yet

I was told that they imported 70 total of the MV Agusta B4 and F4 to the US.

B750 and B1078 RR both gone now.

I agree with you ducman, I waited almost 10 years to get my 312R and never regret not waiting for the 2010 F4. It's appeal is so timeless that the new bike just doesn't have yet. Too many things that I don't like about the new bike that does not out weight the beauty of the old bike. $18K is a hell of a deal!
