Does anyone know.....

Does anyone know how many F4 312 1078RR's were built? Or is there a way to find out?
I'm guessing they have ceased all production of this model and are now concentrating on filling orders for the new F4. So was just wondering if the 1078RR was actually produced in the volumes it was initially expecting, or if the delays in production meant a lower volume was realized.
Any info would be great thanks

Im not sure how many were built but they cant give them away over here in the UK

initial price was £16,999 they dropped it down to £13,999 and then further dropped to £12,340

MV are now paying U.K. VAT for any customer wishing to buy Before end of December.

If they stick around that price i may buy one in February/March, but again they have tight competition from other manufacturers, will wait and see what happens next few months

If no buyer for MV by then as nice as the bike is, the whole set up may be on a shaky nail

and again if i was going for the 1078 its on the back of my mind to pay out a further £1800 and get the brand new 2010 F4. MV may have to drop the 1078 price lower to get people to buy it rather than the 2010 model.

what does others think on this?

Ha ha, good question and one I was too shy to ask myself...

I was hoping Millesettantotto owners would be an elite club, like sub-300...

Pier, could you get hold of that information?

Ha-ha...I thought the question could be on a few RR owners minds so decided to take the plunge.
I was lucky enough to be in the warehouse of the Australian MV Importers a couple of weeks ago and there were a fair few 312RR still in crates waiting to find a new home, or at least a showroom floor/window. But even with the heavily discounted prices they dont seem to be moving due to the release of the 2010 model.
It seems like a lot have been built, but not as many sold.......so what happens there???

Round up some info please Pier???
