Power Commander for 2000 F4 750S?

Hi,

I have bought a set of Arrow open exhausts on eBay and was thinking of fitting a PC instead of the chip. However, it seems that the PCIII is only available for models after 2002. Would anyone know if it would fit a 2000 model or if PC made a unit for that year?

Cheers,

L.

My bike is a 2001 & fitted with the commander that is available. It fits all MV"s. The commander comes blank with no settings due to the dire standard MV set up, & i dont think any down loadable settings are available, as no 2 bikes are the same off the production line, so dyno time is essential!

The difference after set up is chalk & cheese. A different bike.

Hi lvalder,

You're right about the listing on Dynojet's website, so I emailed them the exact same question about 2000 model 750 F4S fitment some time ago, and this was their reply:
"Yes, we list the PCIIIusb for the MV 750, the part no. is 713-411."
So the answer is "yes" and others here have fitted them to the 2000 model. As said above, you would need to get it custom mapped on a dyno, but that's the way to go anyway.

However...I decided against buying one and am holding out for a Microtek ECU-S which is currently being developed by Chris (X81) from X-Bikes. There are a few threads on the Microtek in the "Performance" section of the forum if you're interested.

Hi,

Many thanks for the responses. I'll get a PCIII and have it mapped, as that will suit my needs just fine.

Cheers,

L.

I had one fitted to my 02 750S this year- totally transformed it and she pulls like a steam train

Had it fitted / dyno'd by RJS Superbikes @ Mallory, included a free dyno run / set up too...
