Post new F4 & Brutale bargain prices

just been informed that the MV's have drastically dropped in price as winter bargains with NIL VAT;

989R Brutale £8,750

1078RR Brutale £10,480

F4 1078RR £12,350

I think for a MV new out the shop its a very good price although I would be as sick as a dog if i had just bought in the last few months before this massive reduction.

the F4 1078RR was initially £16,999, then dropped down to £13,999 and now down to £12,350

appartently the zero % finiance is still on offer too

I would hate to have bought in the last few months, there must also be a huge devaluation in second hand bikes with these prices

any comments?

Honda did that to their customers this fall in the US market, too......new CBR1000R 2008 for around $7500 out the door (on the road). I know 2 guys who are really pissed, as they just bought theirs last spring and now owe more then the cost of a new one.

Lots of price drops to move inventory n light of the economic conditions.....motorcycles (especially sport bikes) are not what most people spend their money on when credit is tight and fears are rampant.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

This long running worldwide recession has created a real buyers' market. Four months ago I purchased a brand new '07 Bimota DB6 Delirio for $13,000.00 delivered. Original MSRP was $29,400.00.The dealership included a pair of ZARD carbon fiber slip-ons, a rear axle stand, and a fitted Bimota cover. My riding buddy bought an almost new '06 Bimota DB5 Mille for $13,000.00 at the same time- original MSRP was , gulp, $39,800.00. Scored an '08 ZX-10R for a really good price a year ago too. Now I'm awaiting delivery of a low mileage '08 KTM SuperDuke with over $4,000.00 worth of KTM, Rizoma, and Akrapovic add-ons- for about $10,000.00 off retail pricing. Great to be a buyer- lousy to be a seller now.

Millenium and Robinsons both have new 1078 F4 from £12000 and 1078 Brutales £10480. So I guess other dealers will have them at the same price. Nothing about 0% finance though.

Damn those are some sweet prices on some seriously sweet bikes. I wonder if that price drop will help bring in new customers. I mean part of the reason why I think MV sales numbers are relatively low is because simply most people have no idea what an MV Agusta is. I think MV needs to at least get some advertising going on TV or something.
