Question Will a 750 Exhaust fit a 1000?

After listening to the youtube excerpt from Timster's "Cored exhaust project" I've been absolutely enthralled...

adam-mv has got a set of "silvers" that I'm considering...

The bottom line is, will they fit?

Silencers will fit, the link pipe will not fit as where the link pipe connects under the engine the two pipes that come together are the same size so will not slide into each other,

I have a complete stock exhaust from mine in perfect condition, with all of 12 miles on them. I see a set going for $275 in lesser condition (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-09...Q5fAccessories) but I'm open to realistic offers for the slips.

2002 MV Agusta F4S - full RG3 & chip
2005 Ducati 999 - Evolving project
2007 Aprilia RXV 550 - A love/hate bike
1987 Porsche 928 S4 - Marine Blue, Supercharged Stroker build
1981 Porsche 928S - Euro 5spd, resto to come
1986 Porsche 951 - Gaurds Red, modded
1986 Porsche 951 - Crystal Green, modded
