Ignition Key immobilisers

If I sound a tad dippy on this one, please excuse me....do MV's have the same sort of system that is fitted to the jap bikes via the chip in the ignition key. [Hiss system on Honda's etc] or does it soley rely on the datatool alarm that is fitted.

Only those with an aftermarket alarm/immobiliser will have that luxury- In fact while sorting out an electrical problem last year, I stumbled across a way to start a standard bike in a couple of seconds! With absolutely no damage whatsoever! (needless to say, I'll not be advertising that one!)

The older I get, the faster I was!
