Senna and SR questions

Firstly, hi everyone, this is my first post.

I own an F4 SR and am looking to part ex for a 750 Senna and have some questions please.

I think I am right in saying there are fewer SRs in the UK than Sennas, but I am considering paying £2,500 to part ex the SR for the Senna. Mad?

Also, did all Sennas come with RG3 pipes? If so, were the standard pipes included? How can I tell the difference between them (visually).

Many thanks in advance.

Astars, all Senna 750 came with RG3 which is a brownish/ bronze color compared to the stock pipe which is silver. I made the mistake of selling my Senna 750 about 4 yrs ago, luckily, I found a low mileage bike recently and made the purchase.

I'd pay £2500 to p/ex a SR for a 1000 Senna but not for a 750. Just my humble opinion of course. The engine in the SR is the same as the 750 Senna so you're paying an extra £2500 for the name and some carbon and a few other bits. You're may be not mad but I'd seriously consider what you're about to do before you take the plunge. Welcome to the site by the way.

Apart the engine... witch is way better on the SR...
The Senna has an Evo 3 engine (136hp, 1 year earlier than the 750s), on the SR you have the SPR engine (146hp, 1 year after the SPR).

If I had to change an SR it whould only be for an SPR (Upgraded fork, shock and clutch, different gear box...), on the Senna you'll only get a set of RG3 and a different paint scheme... and loose 10hp...

Thanks guys, how different to the rg3 pipes sound from the standard ones? I will be buying the bike from the same dealer I bought the SR from so will not have chance to hear or see it before I part ex.

Greatly improve mid range power/torque on your engine (if you have the right Eprom, with is not easy to find...)
