Upgrading to HID but have a question.

I am planning on ordering some HID's but I need to make sure of the bulb type. I am not at home so I can't check my bike or the owner's manual.

Does the F4 use H3 for low and a 9005 for high beam?

Hey Lowcel,

Let me know how it works out and where you're getting the materials.

I am ordereing from www.ddmtuning.com. They have them for $42.50 each or $50 each for the 55 watt version. I'm going with two 55 watters. I've used HID's in my last bike from www.lite-eyes.com but a lot of people had problems receiving their lights. I got lucky with them but I'm afraid to try them again.

I changed my mind, I'm going with the 35 watt bulbs. I had those on my last bike and they were more than bright enough. I am going with 8,000k low beam and a 6,000k high beam. I think that will work out pretty well. I'm also getting two halogen 194's for the other lights in the headlights so they won't appear yellow.

With three day shipping the total was $124.36. Not too shabby.

lowcel - Why did you choose 2 different colors for the lights?

I wanted a little brighter light for the high beam. For the low beam I thought the whiter / bluer bulb would be alright since that's what I had before but I want more intensity for the high beam.
