Help!! F4 died while riding, everything appears fine, but won't restart!

Hey guys,

I was riding my 02 F4 750 across town earlier today when it suddenly died on me.

The motor just shut off, there were no odd noises, no warning lights, etc...

Temps were fine, oil is fine, no leaks, no fires, Battery is fine, all fuses check out perfect.

Turn the key and everything lights up fine.

Hit the starter switch and the starter turns over perfectly, same as always.

But yet we have no start...

What gives? can anyone here offer some advice so I can get back on the horse?

Thanks!

Interesting...

When I open my fuel cap I can see a black hose, but I thought it was a vent hose.

how would I know if there is something wrong with it, and how would I fix it?

If you have not done any work on the bike recently, or remove fuel tank the possiablity of fuel hose coming lose is very slim.

I've only owned the bike for the past 1000 miles, so its history is unknown to me.

Anyway to test the fuel hose theory without totally disassembling the bike?
