Coolant leaking???

Hey guys... soo i have a problem again... so i haven't been riding my 2000 F4 750 that much usually 30 40 mins max cuz i get too tired and texas is really hottt nowadays... Anycase today i went on a really long ride, the first hour the bike was fine but we took a pit stop and all of a sudden there was green coolant leaking from underneath the bike...The riders i was with said its nothing bad... i forgot what they said...cuz i was soo worried/freaked out, but i figured i might just ask the MV experts (you guys) since you know the bike in and out!!!!

Thanks alot in advance

If you were riding in slow traffic, or stationary for a couple of sets of traffic lights in succession, thats pretty well exactly what to expect. Check that the fan is switching on - if so ignore it. Once you've lost so much fluid that the heat-expanded level doesn't reach the overflow, it will cease. If it carries on and is chucking coolant all down the road, then start worrying.

Fresh water won't cool it sufficiently - eventually I put Engine Ice in, which has cured the overheating (my Evo 3 has the twin radiator/ fan setup).
