Mono to Biposto 1+1 conversion

Hi,
My name is Paul and I'm new to this site as I've just bought my first Mv F4s after years of dreaming about it. The problem is I couldn't find a Black Biposto so decided to settle for a Mono. After reading neumerous forums I decided to convert it to a Biposto to keep my wife happy. Not worried about the conversion however having difficulty finding all parst required especially the sub frame. Can't afford to go new I,m afraid.
So just wondering if anyone can give some advice on where to look other than E-bay. Or on the off-chance anyone would like to do a swap for my Mono rear end. I have a 2006 F4S with 8000 on the clock and its in imaculate condition.
Any help/ advice greatly appreciated.
Cheers Paul

Hi and welcome.
Just copy and paste this thread into the For sale / Wanted section. There may be someone looking to do a swap. Looking at comments in previous threads more people want to convert from dual seat configuration to single seat so you may be in luck. That's the cheapest option. Others may have used parts (biposto sub frame) for sale.
Good luck.

Hmmm...I am not sure where you are located....but if you are in the states, I wish you would have asked here first....then I would have told you that Ducati Miami does have a Biposto black one....

Anyway....welcome and enjoy her...

Ciao, Andreas

Hey Remepsi... Have you tried sending a PM to CAG ?

I have a new complete 1000S mono seat unit ( Rosso Red) which I'm thinking of selling, but unfortunately not a biposto in the colour your after..

However, if you get desperate, send me a PM and I'll send an email to a manufacturer that supplies the factory and we’ll see if they can help you out. I've just source a 1000R seat unit and fairing side for another member from this manufacturer.
