Dears,
Anyone knows the ideal compression value for an F4? My 1078 (6 months old, 4,300kms on clock, broken in= normal riding) produced 125psi/ 9Kg.cm2 on cylinders 1,2 and 4 whereas cylinder 3 only 117psi/8.4 Kg/cm2. We gave the engine 2-3 turns with no fuel tank on or throttle opening.
My numbers look quite low especially for a relatively new bike. Also the 3rd cylinder looks a bit off/ strange. Before I start checking valve clearances (even though its early) or piston rings I thought I ask the forum for norms.
Thanks all in advance.
Phil
