Need quick advice how to change coolant

hey guys, just a quick question. I want to change the coolant to engine ice tonight. I read in the owners manual how to remove the key cover to fill the coolant but where's the plug to get rid of the cold coolant? sorry if thats a dumb question.

thanks, tim

It's on the left side, there's a nut on the bottom of the water pump. Someone posted a picture recently but I cannot find it. You'll be wanting a torque wrench too. As I understand the best way to drain it is to leave the bike on the side stand. Make sure you flush out the old stuff with distilled water before adding the Engine ice.

If you search, Coolant, drain, water pump, the old thread should pop up somewhere within the results.

edit: I think your brutale manual should show the location of all the fluid in and out points.

Quick advice?

Drain the old stuff from the bottom. Fill it with the new stuff from the top.

There is a bolt under the water pump housing. unscrew that and the coolant will squirt out.

have a look at the 2nd video on the NIWI's page.
Right at the beginning of the video, you will see exactly what bolt is unscrewed to bleed the coolant out of the bike.
