Talking Ride your F4..AND WIN!!! (West Coast Version, Peter)

Feeling like I needed some new things, I decided to take Peter's advice and ride my F4 over to a local bike contest at Malcolm Smith Motorsports, and win the Best Bike contest, which I did. Nice to know ol' #211 still has what it takes, all 6,000 miles of her...

First place! Motorcycle TV and Race voice personality Larry Huffman announces the winner...

When he said over the microphone that I had just won a Yoshimura slip-on exhaust, he pointed the mike at me and asked what I thought about that...I said, "I think I'll need four of them?".

Here she is before the crowds arrived...

So, I won: The Yosh exhaust, which will be either exchanged or eBay'd, an autographed VIDEO TAPE of 'On Any Sunday'...I wish I (still) owned a VCR...2 t-shirts and an autographed M.Smith poster.

Thanks for the advice, Peter!!!

He's right...Ride your F4!

Griff,

211 looks GREAT.

We both know that these Tams will forever be THE special MV's. Always, they get the attention of the crowd.

AND, they ride like BEASTS.

Congrats on the win; send me a T shirt.

"..Send me a T-shirt"

Absolutely! PM me your address, and it is on its way! Not sure why they gave me two, not sure why there was no size choice...? Anyway, they are identical and both sized 2XL, but it's cotton so you can shrink it to your own desired size...At least I can because I have no idea how to correctly use a clothes dryer.

I've never quite been able to keep up with your mileage, but ya, I ride it as often as I can...Bearing in mind I have to run oil through a few other machines, also.

It was kind of like bringing an intercontinental thermonuclear ballistic missile to a fist-fight, but it sure got everyone's attention. He he.

Griff,

Very nice bike. I can see why it won. I'm somewhat new to the MV F4 and maybe you could explain the major differences between the F41000 and the Tamburimi, besides the gold wheels.
