Cylinder order? (Installing PCIII)
My PCIII instructions say to hook each lead up to the correct cylinders. How can I tell which cylinder is 1-4? Are thye in order, left to right?

Not very lucky.. 

Should be #1 on the left when sitting on the bike.....going off of memory when I worked on the Brutale

They are numbered on the valve cover.

I also noticed:
a) The wires are numbered on the bike 1-4 (awesome)
b) The PCIII harness has the plugs in the correct order (4-1), starting from the right side of the bike.

It will be easier for you to remember when you buy the sportster. There won't be any cylinder numbers, just front and back cylinders, you should be able to figure that out

When installing the PCIII connectors to the fuel injectors, I would suggest you "safety wire" them so that they stay snug and tight. There is a little play in the connection if you don't, which can cause some intermittent connection problems. I've installed a few of them, and each bike that wasn't safety wired had problems. Here's a link to some pics showing the safety wiring that we did when Ben and I installed his PCIII:
