OEM Carbon Heel Guards

Anyone know if MV Agusta made carbon fiber heel guards for the 1st gen F4s? If so, were they only available in the corse kit? I would like to find a set for my Tamburini. Thanks in advance for the help.

They did accoring to my CRC parts catalogue, parts SPC AA0 1027 and AB0. They look just the same as the std ones but in carbon save yourself alot of hassle finding oem and buy some aftermarket ones.
esq'z me likes this.

Thank you so much for those part numbers. Ya, finding a pair of those will probably be as hard as finding a set of muzzy fan blades. I see that Ilmberger made them at one time. I know their stuff is fantastic, expensive but extremely high quality. I'm just not sold on many of the aftermarket carbon fiber companies and usually like to stick with an OEM manufacturer. The problem is that hardly anyone makes things for the 1st gen F4s because they are so old and far from numerous. Can't blame the companies, really. They are only going to make what they can selll.

Thanks again.

Just for everyone's information, Ilmberger Carbon no longer produces the F4 heel guards. That's a big bummer. Oh well, my search for an OEM set continues.

I could have answered my own question here if I would have just looked in the special parts catalog that I was given with the bike. Doh! Too bad most all of these special parts are unobtainable. However, evolutionbike.it, one of our forum sponsors, had these listed as an MV Agusta corse part. I ordered a set and I am awaiting the backorder to be fulfilled. Apparently, MV is having supplier issues. I will post some pictures of these heel guards once they arrive. I wish I had an original, special parts set to compare them to. My hunt still continues for an original set.
