Finally took the plunge and did a track day on my F4
Hi Guys,
It's been a while since I last posted, but I just wanted to share a few things about a track day that I did yesterday at Cadwell Park UK.
I've been on a few track days before, and even used to production race RD350 Yamaha's back in the eighties but I never had the guts to take my MV on a track day until yesterday!!
I've had the bike from new and it will be three years old soon, so I just decided "what the hell" I wasn't so much worried about the abilities of the bike, as much as me wanting to race with people way faster than me!
Anyway I had a fantastic time, and even though I say so myself, I was pretty quick!
That's probably more down to the bike than me. All I can say is the F4 was awesome, it never once got out of shape, even under hard braking and down shifting, and corners like it's on rails.
I'm not trying to plug for anyone here, but the people who ran the track day are excellent (Focused Events) They have a policy of making sure there are no idiots on track trying to cut your nose offf, or sit you up mid corner. People who do that are sent home.
Hope this might enourage some of you to take the plunge and do a track day on your MV!
I've added a few pic's and there are more in my gallery if anyone is interested.
The pictures were taken by Focused Events.
