Wheels Painted

Got the wheels painted this week. Previously they were polished on the rims and had a few nicks and scratches. Turned out quite nice. Could not get a powder that matched though so went with paint. Very pleased with the result. Just leaving them for a week or two to fully cure now. Done by a mate of mine here in Canberra who owns a Nero. https://www.facebook.com/RimRescue/

Look nice, what model do they go on, 1st of the 1st Gen? Did you have them blasted before painting?

Have a look in the maintenance section for the manual, they will have all the torque details needed. Glad to see you kept them near original, I like to see the early 1st gens kept standard (ish). Good luck with the rebuild.

Fully agree, save for wheels:

Anyone know whether these were an option on the 2007, or might they have been purchased as a stand-alone product? I'm certainly fortunate to have them; apparently they're worth good money!

I use the lower torque specs common on here. I just meant they are not visible anymore for that factory look.
Very few mods on mine
RG3s
R&G pegs
Mitchy hub
Melotti tail tidy
Tinted screen.
CNC Racing wheel nut
All easily changed back to original.

They were standard on all 1000R's.
