Smile Senna, Tamburini, Ducati 999R

Hi All-

I have been looking for a low mileage Senna for awhile now, and found one that looks to be in great condition.

As I was talking to the gentleman selling the bike I mentioned I was going to be selling a sports car and he mentioned he had many bikes and would consider selling (trading) his Tamburini and Ducati 999r Xerox.

So the question is how much is a Tamburini with 3500 miles worth if it is in perfect condition? I can not find a value anywhere, and my local dealer said they would sell for about 25k at retail, the seller thought this was borderline on an insult, maybe it is but that's what they said.

I can not wait to get the bikes, and hope the deal works out.

Thanks in advance!

Eric

The dealer, like most avaricious thieves, is full of shit. A fine Tambo is worth mid 30's. See what Drew wants for his. They don't come much better.

Hopefully all three bikes are in great shape and the deal should be good for both of us then! mid 30's is good. The guy seems to be good and a straight shooter, so I'm pumped. On the other hand he is getting an amazing car!!!

I'd like to back up what Lee has stated about the value of the Tamburini.
However, this is probably the worst time to be looking to sell a Tambo and it may take a little more time to find a buyer in the 33 - 35 thousand range.

So what's the car you are looking to trade?

It's a bad time to sell anything so that should be the same for both of us. I think the deal is a close as we are going to get to fair. If I took the time to list the car I think I could get over 95k, probably 105ish.... the problem is I would have to find the right buyer like he would for the Tamburini.

2007 911 Turbo with 10k Miles. The deal is for three bikes and money. But the 911 is special it was a 161k sticker car, with over 16k in hand stitched leather alone. it was a 161k sticker car, all the ones on eBay and other sites are typically about 20k less MSRP minimum.

Being an automobile dealer for many years.....I've been call many a name before, but never avaricious......

As for a fine Tambo, mid thirties sounds right, but one that's been abused by a naked old man.......maybe mid teens......

I'm glad the forums are active! although the thought of a naked man riding a Tambo play on words or not caused some visuals I was not looking for!!! heh
