Exhaust Mix and Match

Has Anyone tried to mix and match the exhaust slip on and mid pipe? Im thinking of fitting the Bodis slip ons with the HPE mid pipe but not sure about the measurements. Can anyone help me on this? Thanks.

I'm not sure why you'd want to do this but short of having the actual parts to measure you should contact the mfgs and get the ID/OD of the various junctions. The mid should fit the headers OK but it's the mid to tailpipes you need to be concerned about. The best answer would be "they are exact duplicates of the OEM parts".

I got mine. Boy do I ever got mine.

Hi Azzidyn
I have a HPE mid section with RG3 slipons all fitted fine.
The HPE midsection is very tight and hasnt much clearance around the swingarm, it is staight but the moto corse is curved
but no problems other than that.
The noise is deeper with the mid pipe, and even better when i fitted the RG3's, i liked the Bodis but decided they where a little to loud in the UK.
good luck.

Thanks for the reply. Just thought a mix and match would create a different sound as what they do in cars. Cheers!

All midpipes will sound the same. It's in the mufflers. Or lack thereof.

I got mine. Boy do I ever got mine.
