Price check: What's a good price for a left over 2008 312R?

Here's the juicy details:

1) Spectrum MV Agusta gave up the MV sales franchise on March 1st. Their still doing parts and service but "taking a temporary hiatus on new sales". They'll still take in used ones. The have two MVs on a close out sale.

2) Dealer rumor mill said they would sell their left over 2007 F4R bi-posto demo model for $15,500 while their sites says $20,999

3) They also have a 312R which looks like it's also a demo bike. Their site says $24,495 (MSPR).

So, what do you thinka 312R would go for at this point - especially if it's a demo?

Am I interested? HMmm. Maybe. But I don't really like the black/gray lively and don't want a bi-posto but if the deal was sweet enough, maybe. Do you think $17K is realistic?

I'd say from the avatar, no.

I think <$20 for a demo 312, and <$16 for the R.

B4 750S [sold]
B3 675R [waiting]

Hahaha. I have the avatar and signature feature turned off since I'm on the forum at work.

Hi Allan,
I was looking at the 2008 Brutale 910R that Spectrum has as a demo. The price was marked down from about $16K to about $12K. I checked their current listing and it is back up to $16K. I don't know why they have hiked the price back up, but that should give you an idea of the "fair price". Also, I have read on the Aprilia forum site where Spectrum is really motivated to sell their MV's. My suggestion would be to make them an offer and try to make the end of March deadline to save on the CA taxes. You saw where they are going up, right? Pro-Itala is open late tonight to sell bikes before the month ends.

Yeah, I bought the Red and Silver! I did ride that bike for my demo.

The demo bike had been dropped when the kick stand self retracted and it has a couple of scratches on the fairing.
They wanted me to buy is and I think they offerd an additional $800.00 off.
Good luck!

Hmm. That's for the heads up. Good to know it's been dropped and I didn't really like the colors.

And they were only give $800 off $22K?
