1997-2017: F4 20th anniversary

OK, so on the MVA facebook page they have a post celibrating 20 years of the F4 design. No need to tell me how good this is.. you are preaching to the converted. (seriously, how good does this look!)

"No mere ‘operation nostalgia’, but a truly avant-garde model in terms of technology and aesthetics, in 1997 the F4 750 Oro barnstormed a uniform market, mixing it up and enthralling it...."

However, the pics that go with it are a little confusing. This is presumably, the F4 ORO. However, this has black wheels, a smoke screen, silver pipes plus other little touches that are different than the F4 ORO release bike. Is this some sort of pre-release concept model?

Yes it is. Looks like the one in the Guggenheim museum.

What a beast of a motorcycle!
It growls and rages and flies across the tarmac like a wild animal that has escaped the confinement of a cage and after merely waiting restlessly until the release, will not endure being locked up ever again.

Skye I miss you. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.

Hard to believe the original F4 is 20 years old, such a timeless design.
