Exhaust heat shields melting

Guys, I'm melting my plastic heat shield tearing around on the track.
I seem to recall seeing an aluminium shield somewhere. The same material as the catalytic converter wraps.

Are these on another model, or has someone made them aftermarket, or am I dreaming?

F4 750: EVO2 engine, CNC Mitchs Hub, CNC water pump, FBF clip ons, Uprated chain tensioner, PCIII, Ceramic headers, RG3s, Talon 520 conversion, Oro wheels, +40,000miles and counting.......

Seems that this is maybe what I could remember seeing:

My worry is the glue will let go (I mean if it's right to melt the plastic and my powercommander right) and then I've got a messed up plastic shield and a pile of ooze to deal with.
I've done the fairing ones enough times over the years to know these products are essentially a band-aid.

Is this a preformed heat shield made to fit the under tray? if so where is it available from? Or is it made up from sheet insulation? if so where is that available?
The under trays on our MVs here in Australia get so hot that you can't touch them after a ride in the summer time. I have already put heat insulation directly on the under side of the ECUs' but need more under the under tray. I was gong to cut some sheet insulation and make that fit until I saw this.

That is sheet insulation that is peel-and-stick.

I cut it to shape with a very sharp knife.

It is available from many manufacturers.
