2000 MV F4 ORO for sale

Eraldo Ferracci is selling an F4 ORO. Only 24 miles on it. If I didn't have other projects to take care off I would snap this up. Not sure if its a good price or not though.

Still looks stunning and I think the price is about right (approx. $53K AUD)

It's been displayed in the showroom at Fast By Ferracci the whole time. I am sure it was very well cared for.

not sure why the emphasis on 'hand built'. Can anyone elaborate? All MV's are hand 'assembled' with no particular enforced time limit in that a bunch of blokes put all the parts together with hand tools and the odd jig here and there. Its not like someone machined some of the bits out of lumps of ally like they do at Bimota, yet on the other hand the frames are welded by hand out of bits of tube on a jig. Was the Oro any different?

In the automobile business we often referred to a vehicle as "bought new" as if all vehicles weren't actually purchased new by someone at sometime in its history.

I think maybe the reference to "hand built" might be similar.........so, here you have a hand built motorcycle that was bought new......

910R, S4RS Monster,'78 BMW R100S, Heritage Softail, Chrome V-Rod, Sportster 48, Kawasaki Concours 1400, '07 Ultra Classic with sidecar, yellow Vespa LX 150, a cool little Ruckus, and a very understanding wife........

Well,..... the original F4 ORO, being the very first of the "New" MV Agusta, probably had quite a careful and well supervised build.
Only 300 built, and Tamburini's newest baby, I'll bet he maestro himself was watching over a small group of men doing the assembly and inspecting every part personally.

I think this bike was probably more "hand built" than any following MV models.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.
